Measuring 1.00 inches in diameter and 2.25" long with a 1.80" long inner chamber the Afterburner features internal threading which serves the dual purposes of distriburing gas flow to reduce flash and also gives a threaded surface where optional threaded muzzle ends, such as flash hider and compensator tips, can be added on for additional effect. The Afterburner will fit inside the AR-15 Transformer Forend. The Afterburner Linear Compensator is manufactured from 8620 steel, heat treated, and coated in black oxide.  It is marked "MA" and "USA" to denote that it is made right here in the USA by Manticore Arms and comes with a crush washer. It is 2.25" long, weighs 3.4 ounces, and has a 1" outer diameter and wrench flats for ease of installation.
